A few months ago I did another Moth Story Slam. This time the theme was “risk.” I talked about how I went from being a Microsoft corporate grind to a line mechanic for a major airline. I came so close to winning with this one and really enjoyed telling the story. I hope you enjoy watching it just as much.

  1. Fantastic presentation and storytelling! Remember, as the Stones sang, “Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind!” Way to follow your bliss. I earned my private pilot’s license when I was 16.

    1. Thank you! And, that’s great about your license. Do you fly these days?

      2. I will let you know the next time I do one. It’s great fun both to tell a story and to watch.

  3. Great story! I definitely remember when you first told me you were quitting your job (where we met! Definitely one of the best things to come from working at that place, IMO!) and honestly did have the thought of “has Jennifer just lost her mind?” LOL! But then you explained that this was something you were passionate about and had been for a long time, just secretly. I knew that you would be successful because you’re amazing and such a bad-ass! I’m so proud of you and honored to have you as my friend 🙂 ❤
