Time to have some fun. Try your hand at a six-word memoir. For ideas, there’s a Wikipedia entry on the topic, with some good samples.

I will award 2 prizes. One to the wittiest entry and one to the most eloquent. If you’re a mountain biker the prize will be a set of lock-on grips. If you’re not a mountain biker you can still have the grips if you want them, but otherwise, we’ll talk – I’m sure I can come up with a fun prize for the non-bikers among my readers.

If you’re shy, send your entry to me directly at lesherjennifer at gmail dot com. If you’re less reserved you can tweet it to me or post it to my facebook page, using the buttons to your right, or you can post it directly in the comments here.

Contest closes March 15. I will decide on the winners by March 22.

Looking forward to your entries!

Great idea! I tried to get my friends on Facebook to write these memoirs too, but to no avail. Here’s mine: Having children pierced my heart’s shell.

Many years ago, a friend told me I had given him the meaning of life, although at the time I didn’t realize it, or think about it that deeply. Anyway, it fits the 6 word memoir format so here it is:

Have fun and don’t hurt anyone.
